The new moon in Taurus is coming up tomorrow and I love this grounded energy. This is the perfect time to set some long term intentions in place.
Taurus energy has a very intentional, practical kind of vibe to it. Its slow. Its rooted. Its not afraid to put in the necessary work.
If you have some big goals- this is the new moon you've been waiting for. Today I'm going to share my basic new moon ritual with you guys. Its simple and easy to adapt, as all magic and/or ritual should be a deeply personal journey.
For this ritual you'll need cleansing incense or herbs to burn, a fire safe dish for it and a lighter, and a pen and paper to write with.
First, find a place where you can be alone and undisturbed. Ritual requires concentration and spiritual effort so its important that you have some space for yourself.
Begin by burning your cleansing herbs/incense to purify the area you are working in. When you are ready, have a seat with your pen and paper.
Think of the things you want to bring into your life. Keep your list relatively small, no more than a few goals.
As you think of the first thing you are manifesting, you're going to envision it in your minds eye as clearly as possible. What does it look like? Feel like? How do you feel having this thing in your life?
After you've seen what it looks like as a reality you're going to write it down on your paper.
Now here's the trick. Your words MATTER. Don't write down things like "I want" or "I wish" or "I need." The universe doesn't respond to wishy washy vibes.
Instead you'll write it out as a fact. Plain and simple.
Instead of "I want this new job" you'll say something like "Im going to get this job". Then move on to the next thing you are manifesting and do the same thing.
I personally always write down one manifestation that is for someone else/for the collective as well. Its just good karma. Once you are done you can finish it off by writing something along the lines of "and so it is. Thank you universe for these blessings."
I personally will put the finished paper in my book of shadows. Feel free to do that, or put it on your altar. Or you could even fold it up (always fold toward you instead of away, as you want to bring these things TO you, not cast them away) and carry it in your wallet.
There are a million ways to customize this ritual, and you definitely should. Remember that magic asks you to step into your own power and authenticity above all. Play around with it, figure out the ritual that feels right for you and go with it.
